Description
The Alphabet Unit is the psychiatric ward of a military hospital where, during World War II, German doctors inflicted horrific treatment on their guinea pigs, mostly SS officers wounded on the Eastern Front. Bryan, RAF pilot, survived there under a German identity by faking madness. Thirty years have passed, but every day he relives this nightmare and thinks of James, his friend and copilot, whom he abandoned in the Unit, and whom he never found. In 1972, on the occasion of the Munich Olympics, Bryan decided to follow in his footsteps. , leads us into a feverish suspense. Translated from Danish by Caroline Berg.
